Position: Interim Controller Role Hybrid
Take charge as an Interim Controller in a hybrid model in Toronto, ON. Lead financial processes for a well-established non-profit organization committed to community care.

As an Interim Controller, this role specifically aims at stabilizing and enhancing the finance function during a critical transition. You will directly manage the month-end close and oversee a professional team while driving the implementation of efficient processes. Your technical leadership will support the organization's ability to maintain a strong financial position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the entire month-end and quarter-end close process

• Enhance close cycle efficiency through better scheduling

• Lead quarterly close and support critical reporting

• Provide technical leadership to AP, AR, and billing teams

• Document and improve manual processes for sustainability

Requirements:

• CPA designation preferred, with public accounting experience

• Comprehensive full-cycle accounting expertise

• Background in non-profit or health-related fields

• Skilled in developing junior accounting professionals

• Familiarity with Acumatica and/or similar ERP systems
