Join Partner Re's hybrid team as an Actuarial Analyst in Toronto. This role blends financial modeling and collaborative projects within the North American Life and Health business unit.
Partner Re is seeking an Associate Actuary for its Financial Projections Team. With responsibilities including US-GAAP LDTI financial planning and IFRS
17 annual plans, you will engage closely with Finance, Pricing, and Valuation teams. We're looking for detail-oriented candidates with an innovative spirit ready to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop annual financial plans for US and Canadian business units
• Prepare appointed actuary reports and statutory plans
• Support quarterly projections for LICAT ratios
• Investigate new tools and technologies for improved results
• Complete additional assigned actuarial projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics
• 3-5 years of actuarial experience
• Progress toward actuarial designation
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with GGY AXIS
• Strong analytical and communication skills
