Actuarial COOP Position at Foresters Financial

The Actuarial Co-op position in Toronto offers students the chance to engage with the ALM team over an eight-month contract. You will work closely with actuarial staff, contributing to financial modeling, risk analysis, and documentation improvement. This role provides exposure to key functions including Corporate Actuarial, Capital Management, and Risk while utilizing software like GGY Axis and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support ALM and Risk functions in analyses and proposals

• Enhance model governance and documentation for ALM models

• Collaborate with Corporate Actuarial and Finance teams

• Assist in developing ALM reporting changes

• Aid in preparing the annual Appointed Actuary Report

Requirements:

• Actuarial undergraduate student

• Excellent communication and organization skills

• Strong analytical and technical abilities

• Knowledge of GGY Axis and Excel

• Experience with Hyperion or Power BI is a plus
