Associate Director for Investigations

Position: RBC Associate Director for Investigations
Drive RBC's mandate against financial crime as the Associate Director in Investor Services. You'll spearhead AML investigations to protect against money laundering and terrorism financing threats.

In this influential position, you will leverage your expertise to assess risk and conduct thorough investigations. Collaborating with the Director of the Global Capital Markets Financial Intelligence Unit, you will evolve the Canadian IS FIU program and share critical knowledge with your team. Your analytical prowess will ensure effective risk mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute AML investigations in IS Canada

• Analyze intelligence for sufficient suspicion of crimes

• Serve as a subject-matter expert for team guidance

• Accurately document all investigative actions taken

• Liaise with regulatory authorities on suspicious reports

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of investigation experience

• Demonstrable AML and financial crime knowledge

• Proficient with MS Office applications

• Familiarity with banking operations is desirable

• Must attain CAMS designation within 6 months
