Tax Manager

Position: Tax Manager at Valua Partners
Join Valua Partners as a Tax Manager and leverage your expertise in Canadian corporate tax to assist SMEs in optimizing their tax strategies. This role emphasizes client service and tax compliance.

As part of Valua Partners' Canadian Tax team, you will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns while providing strategic tax planning. You will need a minimum of five years' experience in corporate tax in a professional services setting, along with advanced Quick Books Online skills. Client relationship management will be key to helping identify tax-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare T1, T2, and T3 corporate and personal tax returns

• Review bookkeeping and financial statements for accuracy

• Provide tailored tax planning advice to clients

• Manage and oversee multiple client accounts

• Stay updated on tax regulations and accounting standards

Requirements:

• Five years of Canadian Corporate tax experience

• Valid Quick Books Online Pro Advisor certification

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in advanced Excel and Microsoft Office

• Team management and project coordination skills
