Accounts Payable Clerk

Position: Accounts Payable Clerk Contract Role
Gambles Group of Companies is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk for a contract role in Dwight. You will focus on managing vendor relations and ensuring accurate invoice processing.

In this role, you'll report to the Financial Controller while contributing to crucial finance department operations. Flexibility is key, as you may work outside standard hours and assist at the Ontario Food Termination location when needed. Your ability to handle financial tasks with accuracy and attention to detail will support the company’s operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards

• Review and accurately process vendor invoices

• Match and reconcile invoices with corresponding documents

• Communicate and resolve issues with vendors effectively

• Maintain thorough records and assist in audits

Requirements:

• High school diploma required; post-secondary in related fields is a plus

• 1–2 years of experience in finance or accounting roles

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Experience in using ERP systems preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills
