Join CGL as AVP Corporate Development and influence strategic financial decisions. This hybrid role focuses on executing M&A strategies and managing investments across Canada.

You will be responsible for guiding corporate development initiatives at CGL, ensuring effective mergers and acquisitions while managing the Corporate Venture Fund. This position requires extensive experience in corporate finance and transaction management, along with a knack for financial modeling and risk assessments in a collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate M&A with external stakeholders

• Research and analyze potential acquisition opportunities

• Develop complex financial models and presentations

• Report on performance metrics to senior management

• Foster a culture of high performance within the team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field

• Minimum of 10 years in corporate development

• Strong experience in financial services and M&A

• Advanced Excel skills, including macros

• Bilingual in English and French is a plus
