Client-Focused Derivatives Specialist

CIBC Mellon is hiring a Client-Focused Derivatives Specialist in Toronto dedicated to managing derivatives transactions, client relations, and cash management in a full-time capacity.

As part of the Special Investments Group, you will be responsible for processing derivative transactions, validating signatures, and managing cash functions daily.

Your role will require strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to ensure compliance with procedures and enhance service quality. Communication skills are critical for successful client interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build relationships by responding to client inquiries

• Process daily derivatives and cash management activities

• Collaborate on process improvements with the team

• Ensure accuracy in signature validations for transactions

• Maintain current collateral and futures documentation

Requirements:

• Requires a university degree

• At least 2 years in securities industry experience

• In-depth understanding of derivative strategies

• Exceptional analytical and detail-oriented mindset

• Effective time management skills under pressure
