Position: Trader for Fixed Income and FX

In this full-time role at OPTrust, you will oversee fixed income and FX strategies, working within a high-performing team. Your expertise in derivatives and financial products will allow you to perform detailed analysis, execute trades, and maintain vital relationships with trading partners.

Your role plays a pivotal part in managing the Plan’s public market exposures and ensuring the stability of pension funding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and execute fixed income strategies for funds

• Participate in liability hedging practices

• Conduct trading in derivatives and cash instruments

• Reporting on trades and investment performance

• Liaise with internal groups to manage risks

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years in portfolio management and trading

• In-depth knowledge of financial products and trading

• Programming skills in Python, VBA, SQL

• Strong communication and dedication to detail

• Relevant advanced degree is highly regarded
