Assistant Vice President of Finance

As part of Trisura's Finance team, you will be reporting directly to the SVP of Finance.
Your role will encompass overseeing external financial reporting, improving workflows, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will actively mentor junior team members, driving timely execution of essential financial duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Execute IFRS and compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with SVP for strategic financial insights
• Oversee and train junior finance staff members
• Coordinate with auditors to enhance the audit process
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or commerce with Accounting focus
• CPA certification required
• At least 10 years of financial reporting experience
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Experience with Netsuite or similar financial systems
Lead Trisura’s finance initiatives while mentoring a dedicated team in Toronto.
