Co-op Student in Finance

Position: Co-op Student in Finance at Metrolinx
Start your finance career as a Co-op Student in the Deputy Chief Financial Officer’s Office age in financial modeling, reporting, and analysis for key projects during this 4-8 month contract.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the Finance teams at Metrolinx, where you will collaborate with stakeholders on various projects. You will provide administrative support, create presentations, and recommend process improvements while gaining hands-on experience in a variety of financial disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support financial modeling for business cases and projects

• Assist with developing templates and updating documentation

• Produce operational reports and documentation regularly

• Organize data for reports and presentations

• Prepare agendas and take minutes for meetings

Requirements:

• Enrolled in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• Part of a full-time accredited co-op program

• At least 15 years old prior to employment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Power BI
