This role demands a strong understanding of Canadian mutual funds and ETFs, as you'll oversee tax reporting, compliance, and strategic tax planning. Your analytical skills and knowledge of tax legislation will support the company's investments and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate monthly and annual fund tax distributions and allocations

• Prepare fund tax returns, including T3, T5, and NR4 slips

• Review year-end tax distributions and ensure CRA compliance

• Collaborate with teams on tax-related inquiries and initiatives

• Mentor junior tax staff and manage vendor relationships

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-7 years expertise in fund taxation

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• CPA designation preferred

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Canadian tax standards

• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel
