Compliance Analyst, Finance & Banking

Job Description

Tek Staff's Client has a current vacancy for "Compliance Analyst".

• Review existing regulatory requirements in the Regulatory Library, validate accuracy and completeness of the requirement details versus the official source.
• Reasonably review and challenge other mandatory fields, such as prioritization of the regulation, whether the regulation is local versus extraterritorial, appropriateness of the business units and/or control & support functions tagged to the requirements, and whether the key controls mapped are effectively mitigating the regulatory compliance risk of the requirements. In some cases, self‑serve AI tools are available to help with the review.
• Work with key stakeholders to discuss identified gaps and observations, resolve the gaps where appropriate, or work with action owners to raise an issue to resolve the gaps.
• Track progress of the review and provide periodic reports to management.

• Regulatory requirements knowledge for China, Japan and Singapore is an asset.
• Previous experience with top five banks / financial institutions within the regulatory compliance space is very nice to have.
• Robust experience with MS Office Suite, with proficiency in advanced Excel.
