Commercial Mortgage Funding AVP

Lead the Funding department as an Assistant Vice President at First National in Toronto. Drive strategic oversight and performance management in commercial mortgage funding operations.

In this full-time role, you will provide leadership for the Funding teams to ensure operational efficiency and risk management. Your expertise in commercial mortgages and effective collaboration with investors and stakeholders will support the company's growth objectives. You will be responsible for pipeline management and achieving departmental goals to foster a high-performing culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Funding department teams, ensuring high levels of engagement

• Oversee funding operations and ensure accurate reporting

• Manage funding pipeline prioritization and workflow

• Drive departmental initiatives to improve processes and efficiency

• Act as a liaison with internal departments and investors

Requirements:

• 7-10 years in commercial mortgages or lending

• 7-10 years in leadership of operational teams

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field

• English proficiency; bilingual in French is an asset

• Strong understanding of industry trends and regulations
