As an Investment Associate, you will be a trusted partner to our portfolio managers and advisors, providing investment analysis, portfolio administration, trade execution, client reporting and operational support while helping deliver customized wealth management solutions.
What Will You Do?- Prepare and support the delivery of custom client reporting with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
- Conduct proactive portfolio analysis and trade execution oversight to support effective portfolio management aligned with client objectives.
- Contribute to investment strategy due diligence, research, and ongoing monitoring.
- Deliver exceptional client service through timely responses to inquiries, proactive problem resolution, and strong attention to detail.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance overall operational efficiency across internal teams.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Economics and/or Business)
- Passion for investments, financial markets, and portfolio management.
- Exceptional analytical skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to take initiative and function independently, balanced with strong collaboration skills.
- Understanding of portfolio theory and asset allocation models.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- CFA designation or working toward the CFA designation.
- Two or more years of financial planning, wealth management, or related financial services experience.

This position includes competitive base pay; the overall earning potential is impacted by a variable incentive structure, earning a multiple of salary up to 1.5x. Expected pay range: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00. You have the potential to earn RBC's discretionary variable compensation program, which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation if business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
