Director of Finance at Arch Insurance

Lead the finance function at Arch Insurance as our Director of Finance, responsible for regulatory reporting and internal controls. This role is integral to achieving financial accuracy and efficiency.

As a key member reporting to the VP Finance, you will oversee statutory and external reporting, corporate income taxes, and financial audits. Your experience will guide you in executing accurate financial information preparation and ensuring robust internal controls. This position demands leadership in IFRS reporting and collaboration with senior management to meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage IFRS quarter end reporting and Canadian statutory compliance

• Collaborate on actuarial data for regulatory returns

• Oversee corporate tax function and external audits

• Implement changes based on accounting standards and regulations

• Prepare annual financial statements and disclosures

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of financial reporting experience

• Essential experience in P&C Insurance accounting (IFRS
17)

• Strong analytical, communication, and technical skills

• Proven capability to meet tight deadlines independently

• CPA designation and Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
