We are seeking an experienced SAP Fioneer FPSL Banking Consultant to support the implementation and configuration of SAP Fioneer Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) for banking products. The consultant will be responsible for functional configuration, testing, reconciliation, and integration with SAP S/4
HANA Finance, ensuring compliance with IFRS 9 and local accounting standards.
- Configure SAP Fioneer FPSL for banking products such as loans, deposits, money market instruments, and securities.
- Set up contract types, event processing, posting schemas, accounting determinations, valuation areas, and accounting ledgers.
- Support IFRS 9 accounting requirements, including classification, accruals, amortization, and derecognition events.
- Assist with integration between core banking systems, treasury platforms, FPSL, and SAP S/4
HANA Finance. - Validate accounting postings, GL account derivations, and journal entries.
- Participate in Unit Testing (UT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Perform reconciliations between source systems, FPSL, and SAP General Ledger.
- Analyze and resolve accounting, posting, and integration issues.
- Prepare configuration documents, test scripts, reconciliation reports, and support go-live activities.
- Provide knowledge transfer and post-production support (hypercare).
- 4+ years of experience in banking finance, accounting systems, or SAP finance implementations.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP Fioneer FPSL in a banking environment.
- Experience integrating FPSL with SAP S/4
HANA Finance. - Strong understanding of banking product accounting and event‑based accounting concepts.
- Good knowledge of IFRS 9 accounting requirements and financial reporting processes.
- Experience in testing, reconciliation, and defect resolution activities.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with banking transformation or finance modernization programs.
- Knowledge of local GAAP and financial regulatory reporting requirements.
- SAP FPSL or SAP Finance‑related certifications are an asset.
