Overview

As a member of the Personal and Business Banking Team, you’ll lead a team of high‑performing financial services professionals working toward a shared goal of delivering an exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities
  • Hire, develop, and coach a high‑performing team.
  • Lead clients and team members to success, driving revenue growth and accountability.
  • Support new and existing clients as they secure futures, own homes, and set up businesses.
  • Work flexibly across multiple banking centres and on‑site full‑time.
How You’ll Succeed
  • Lead by example, deepen client relationships, and meet financial needs with a high standard of service.
  • Advocate CIBC within the community, develop relationships, and resolve client complaints promptly.
  • Create a culture of teamwork, monitor performance, and implement action plans to close gaps.
  • Maximize market opportunities, increase overall performance, and manage risk to safeguard the bank, clients, and shareholders.
  • Lead and coach a team of leaders, advisors, and representatives, providing development opportunities and recruiting aligned to CIBC values.
Qualifications
  • Experience providing coaching and hands‑on support to achieve team goals.
  • Strong client focus, goal orientation, and ability to go the extra mile.
  • Passionate about people, building relationships, and operating with authenticity and respect.
  • Certified professional with current accreditation (e.g., Mutual Funds License from Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada).
  • Asset experience:
    Branch Compliance Officer’s Course, Branch Managers Examination Course, Conducts & Practices Handbook, Wealth Management Essentials, or Certified Financial Planner.

Working Hours

Regular, 37.5 hours per week. Full‑time on‑site. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and travel within a reasonable radius.
