Associate Director of Banking Compliance

In this pivotal role reporting to the Director of FCAC Relations, you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for PB&CB Compliance, cultivating confidence in RBC’s ability to meet regulatory timelines. Responsibilities include advising on significant regulatory changes, monitoring compliance risks, and developing proactive risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the business interests of Personal and Commercial Banking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as SME for regulatory change initiatives in PB&CB

• Advise business and senior management on compliance matters

• Oversee end-to-end regulatory change implementation processes

• Prepare status updates on compliance challenges and timelines

• Manage updates required for PB&CB policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Experience in risk management or compliance roles

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of banking products and consumer protection regulations

• Ability to work independently within tight deadlines

• Proven relationship-building and collaborative skills
