Financial Analyst

Position: Financial Analyst at Northland Power

This role supports renewable power facilities and is ideal for accounting professionals seeking growth. Reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting, you'll manage month-end activities, budgeting, and compliance tasks. The position emphasizes collaboration with various teams, enabling impactful decision-making and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close and cash flow forecasting

• Prepare quarterly lender and compliance reports

• Develop and present quarterly board materials

• Assist with annual audits and financial statements

• Collaborate on annual operating budget preparation

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in finance or accounting

• Professional accounting designation is required

• Proficient in advanced MS Excel and Power Point

• Familiarity with Workday Finance is a plus

• Knowledge of IFRS 16 leases and US GAAP is beneficial
