Position: Lead Role in Financial Systems Management
Take charge of financial systems at Interac in a Lead Accounting and Financial Systems role focused on innovation and excellence. This hybrid position emphasizes strategic reporting.

In this leadership position, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Interac’s financial systems, primarily JDE, for better financial operations. Reporting to the Leader of Accounting, you will handle system upgrades and take the lead in external financial reporting, ensuring compliance and accuracy for fiscal obligations.

Your role will also encompass various projects to improve internal accounting efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the management of JDE and financial systems

• Conduct systems upgrades and provide IT audit assistance

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports

• Support monthly accounting, including accrual preparations

• Involve in ad hoc projects affecting financial systems

Requirements:

• Thorough understanding of Canadian GAAP, ASPE, and IFRS

• Relevant experience in financial system leadership roles

• Degree in accounting, finance or related field

• Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

• Effective time management and interpersonal skills
