Position: Full-Time Associate Mortgage Underwriter Position
Advance your career with First National as an Associate Mortgage Underwriter located in Toronto, ON. This position focuses on documentation review and establishing strong ties with mortgage brokers.

The Associate Mortgage Underwriter will support the credit decision process under the guidance of the Third Party Residential Underwriting Manager. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough documentation reviews while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review mortgage documentation for completeness and accuracy

• Collaborate with mortgage brokers and key partners

• Identify and escalate any discrepancies or issues

• Document comprehensive notes in the underwriting system

• Comply with AML policies during documentation processing

Requirements:

• Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent experience

• Prior experience in Financial Services preferred

• Background in the Mortgage industry a plus

• Completion of Mortgage Agent Course beneficial

• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows software required
