Our team assist organisations with both buy side and sell side due diligence. As part of our team, you’ll help us provide both corporate and financial buyers with peace of mind by analysing and validating all the financial, commercial, operational and strategic assumptions being made.
Our team specializes in the Financial Services sector, performing due diligence and other M&A activities on companies across the Insurance, Banking & Capital Markets, Asset & Wealth Management and Fintech subsectors. As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to help our clients through the different stages of the M&A process.
OpportunityAs a Transaction Services Manager (Bilingual FR/EN), you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Financial Analysis and Due Diligence:
Undertake in-depth financial analysis of client and target financial data to identify deal issues and business value drivers in a wide range of businesses within Financial Services - Prepare key transaction analyses such as Quality of Earnings, normalized net working capital and analysis of debt and debt‑like items. Data analytics tools will be utilized to drive efficiencies in data processing and analysis, and to present data effectively
- Advisory skills:
Provide advice as a trusted adviser, using your skills, experience and understanding of transactions to the advantage of your client - Project management:
Responsible for delivering client‑facing projects, being the main daily point of contact for senior client contacts, managing your own time, planning and organizing work tasks, monitoring progress and meeting deadlines - Teamwork:
Key team member on large complex assignments and lead work streams on smaller and medium size engagements - Building relationships:
Build and sustain relationships with clients and internal contacts and act as an ambassador and role model for PwC - Developing people:
Demonstrate the ability to give clear directions, as well as positive and constructive feedback - Coach less experienced staff and actively assist in the development of other team members
- Chartered Accountant Designation (CPA or local equivalent)
- Professional experience at Manager level with solid Financial Due Diligence experience
- Proven technical and analytical capabilities including proven financial and business performance analysis skills.
- Experience with Financial Services companies
- Strong communication, presentation and report writing skills
- Proven team management and leadership skills
- Data analytics experience, using tools such as Alteryx, Power BI and Tableau (desirable)
- This role does not support completion of the Canadian CPA designation

Salary and BenefitsThe salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm‑wide achievements.
