Position: AVP Business Oversight Leadership Role
Drive business compliance excellence as AVP of Business Oversight. Lead a talented team and mitigate financial crime risks through effective management and strategic oversight.

The AVP of Business Oversight position requires a strong leader focused on AML processes and compliance. This role combines managing employee performance with advising on financial crime risks, particularly in relation to money laundering and terrorist financing. The successful candidate will leverage risk assessment initiatives to ensure that business operations are compliant with legal and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a high-performing team for effective management

• Advise on financial crime risk and compliance issues

• Implement effective AML controls and processes

• Review and present risk assessment reports to senior management

• Manage cross-functional initiatives to ensure compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

• 10+ years of experience in AML/ATF regulatory roles

• Extensive knowledge of Canadian AML regulations

• Strong risk acumen and communication skills

• Experience in a matrix organizational structure
