Commercial Mortgage Officer at EQB

The Commercial Mortgage Officer plays a pivotal role in onboarding and updating commercial mortgage files, handling the process from LOI acknowledgement through funding. You will collaborate with Account Managers, Underwriters, and Compliance ensuring adherence to lending guidelines. This position also includes providing administrative support, managing special projects, and cultivating relationships with clients and external brokers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Onboard loans and review details against compliance lists

• Communicate with internal teams and third-party providers

• Generate CAFs and update loan details for management approval

• Process good faith deposit cheques and loan cancellations

• Assist underwriters in preparing draft commitments

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial mortgage administration

• Diploma or degree in business or finance preferred

• Proficient in MS Office suite

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Excellent communication abilities
