Position: Collections Specialist – Bilingual Required
Join First National as a Bilingual Collections Specialist in Montreal, QC, and contribute to effective account resolution. Leverage your communication skills to assist clients while managing financial threats.

This full-time position reports to the Collections Manager and requires a blend of analytical and interpersonal abilities. Your focus will involve investigating delinquent accounts, setting up payment plans, and ensuring compliance with procedures. Additionally, you will assess fees and guide clients through budgeting strategies, reinforcing support and financial education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer collection efforts across assigned accounts

• Evaluate and minimize potential monetary losses

• Assist clients in creating effective budget plans

• Review and process bankruptcy documents when relevant

• Collect mortgage deficiency balances and tax arrears

Requirements:

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English

• Strong analytical and interpersonal competencies

• Experience with MS Office and ability to learn new systems

• Capability to meet deadlines in high-pressure situations

• Flexibility for shift work
