Associate Director of Global Trading - Fixed Income

Step into a crucial role with iA Global Asset Management as an Associate Director, Fixed Income Trader located in Montreal or Quebec City. Manage trading activities for nearly $100B in portfolio assets.

In this position, you'll report to the Global Head of Trading and work closely with other fixed-income traders. You'll monitor and execute transactions effectively while supporting the trading team's operational processes. This role emphasizes collaboration and strategy, requiring insights shared across investment management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute fixed income and derivative transactions promptly

• Support team in trading order management

• Collaborate on market insights with management team

• Coordinate with various internal departments

• Foster relationships with counter parties for liquidity

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree; CFA qualification preferred

• Minimum 5 years experience trading fixed income

• Proficiency in Bloomberg and trading platforms

• Skills in Python, SQL, and VBA helpful

• Bilingual in French and advanced English
