Financial Analyst at CNA

Reporting to the Manager of Finance and Accounting, the Financial Analyst contributes to cash forecasts and auditing for improved business value. You will manage daily cash operations, month-end financial closes, and assist in maintaining internal controls and fraud prevention measures. Effective collaboration with leadership on budget drivers and the development of cash management dashboards is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify daily cash flow and manage expense payments

• Prepare journal entries for month-end financial closes

• Support audit processes and maintain internal financial controls

• Conduct cash-flow analysis for senior management

• Streamline workflows and automate cash accounting transactions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

• Minimum 1 year experience in accounting or finance

• Detailed-oriented with strong analytical skills

• Advanced MS Office and Workday knowledge

• Experience with VBA, SQL, or PowerBI is a plus
