Position Overview

This role is a foundational opportunity to join P-REIT as an Investor Relations leader. The individual will be responsible for building and managing P-REIT’s capital-raising and investor relations function, with full support from the President.

The individual will cultivate relationships with accredited investors, high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and referral networks, while supporting P-REIT’s growth as a recognized Canadian multifamily investment platform.

This role is ideal for a highly connected relationship builder with deep roots in real estate, wealth management, or financial services who is energized by building something from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities Capital Raising and Investor Development
  • Build and manage a pipeline of accredited investors, high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and private capital sources (incl. retail investors).
  • Lead outreach, investor meetings, and presentations to drive subscriptions into P-REIT.
  • Develop and execute a structured capital-raising strategy aligned with P-REIT’s growth targets and fund structure.
  • Support co‑investment, sidecars and syndication opportunities alongside P-REIT flagship fund.
Partnership and Referral Network Building
  • Represent P-REIT at networking events, industry conferences, and investor functions.
  • Establish and maintain strategic referral partnerships with financial advisors, mortgage brokers, accountants, lawyers, and other professional referral sources.
Investor Relations and Communications
  • Prepare and distribute investor reporting packages, quarterly updates, and fund performance summaries.
  • Respond to investor inquiries and manage the investor onboarding experience from initial contact through subscription.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and track investor engagement and pipeline activity.
Marketing and Brand Positioning
  • Collaborate with the President to develop investor-facing materials including pitch decks, offering memoranda, one-pagers, and digital content.
  • Coordinate webinars, investor events, and outreach campaigns targeting professional segments.
  • Help position P-REIT as a trusted and differentiated Canadian multifamily investment platform.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in investor relations, capital markets, business development, wealth management, commercial real estate, or a related field.
  • Established investor network within the real estate, financial services, or professional services industries, with existing relationships that can translate into investor or referral activity. Those with a pre-established, curated and focused excel “rolodex” will be viewed positively.
  • Strong understanding of real estate investment structures including REITs, limited partnerships, and private equity funds.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and investor pipeline management.
  • Familiarity with Canadian exempt market securities regulations and the accredited investor landscape is a significant asset.
