Personal Banking Advisor

Position: Full-Time Personal Banking Advisor Role
Join Alterna Savings in Scarborough as a Personal Banking Advisor, tasked with managing member portfolios and delivering tailored financial solutions. This full-time position demands excellent relationship-building skills and financial acumen.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing an assigned book of business, ensuring that members' complex financial needs are met effectively. You'll engage in proactive relationship management, collaborating with key teams for holistic support. Your experience will also help mentor less experienced team members, enhancing the branch's overall service level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned members

• Conduct regular outreach to establish and maintain relationships

• Document client financial goals and action plans

• Act as primary liaison with Wealth Management and SME

• Provide financial advice and mentoring support to the team

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial institution

• At least 3 years of credit experience and analysis

• Successful completion of CSC or IFIC

• CFP or PFP designation in progress is preferred

• Strong sales performance and member relationship management
