Join Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan as an Investment Analyst dedicated to Natural Resources. This role blends financial modeling with strategic portfolio management in a flexible work environment.
Working out of the Toronto office, you'll be part of a team that manages an extensive . Your focus will be on analyzing investment opportunities in sectors including mining and energy, with an emphasis on financial modeling and due diligence. Collaborate with senior team members and external advisors to drive successful transactions and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create financial modeling tools for opportunity analysis
• Guide the due diligence and valuation processes
• Assess financial risks and key drivers
• Work with advisors to finalize bids
• Analyze financial reports from portfolio companies
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year in relevant financial analysis roles
• Direct experience in natural resources preferred
• Bachelor's degree in finance or related discipline
• Strong communication and analytical capabilities
• Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel
