Senior Associate – Finance Transformation
A career in our Finance Transformation practice, within Consulting services, will provide the opportunity to work alongside Finance leaders to optimize the structure of their finance functions, re‑architect Finance processes and implement new technology to enable their transformation journey. You will work with clients to establish and deliver on their transformation roadmap, identifying process, performance and people opportunities and leading the development of meaningful solutions for sustainable change.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with colleagues across PwC to sell and deliver business‑led, technology‑enabled projects for Finance Consulting services.
- Participate in and support the preparation of workshops with key Finance stakeholders.
- Play an active role in delivering Finance Transformation engagements, including Finance technology tool implementations for Finance Operations (e.g., SAP, Workday, Microsoft, Oracle).
- Contribute to Finance Vision & Strategy and Target Operating Model design.
- Assess and improve Finance processes supported by technology.
- Support the engagement manager/director/partner in managing engagement risk and project economics, including planning and budgeting.
- Prepare deliverable content and ensure the quality of deliverables meets PwC and client expectations.
- Participate in aspects of the proposal development process and contribute to proposal writing.
- Interest in upskilling for a digital world and an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.
- Commitment to valuing differences and working with diverse people and perspectives.
- Professional Finance experience (e.g., Accounting, FP&A, Reporting & Analytics) – an asset.
- Consulting or audit experience, especially within a “Big4” firm – an asset.
- MBA and/or a CPA designation – an asset.
- Experience with ERP implementation initiatives and projects (e.g., SAP, Workday, Microsoft, Oracle).
- Working expertise or understanding in core Accounting areas:
Record‑to‑Report, Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay. - Experience in process improvement or re‑engineering initiatives in core back‑office accounting areas, either as a consultant or internal role.
The salary range for this position is $84,700–$134,700, depending on skills, experience, qualifications and work location. Eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs.
