Position: Treasurer for StopGap Foundation Board

Stop Gap Foundation is looking for a Treasurer who can commit to a minimum two-year term, ensuring sound fiscal management and oversight. You will oversee finance operations, deliver quarterly reports, and support management initiatives. Being a part of this Board allows you to shape strategic direction and actively engage in fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide financial oversight and management advice

• Deliver quarterly financial reports to the Board

• Participate in monthly Board meetings and committee work

• Collaborate with Board Executive and Governance Committee

• Support fundraising efforts and engage with community

Requirements:

• Prior Board experience in the non-profit sector

• Expertise in finance, accounting, or budgeting

• Ability to contribute in virtual and phone meetings

• Availability for monthly meetings and committee tasks

• Enthusiasm to champion Stop Gap within communities
