Canada Compliance and Risk Oversight Manager

Bank of America seeks a Country Compliance and Operational Risk Manager to oversee compliance and operational risk mitigation in Canada. Your strategic oversight will ensure effective adherence to established policies and regulations.

This role is imperative in helping to identify and manage compliance and operational risks associated with Global Markets and Corporate Investment Banking activities. You will also engage with different C&OR officers to facilitate comprehensive regulatory compliance and prepare for necessary audits. Your deep expertise will contribute significantly to guiding risk management across multiple financial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop independent reporting for risk management

• Oversee necessary FLU/CF training and policy compliance

• Monitor regulatory changes impacting financial operations

• Support the analysis of operational loss events

• Execute risk coverage plans and communicate outcomes

Requirements:

• University degree or similar qualification

• 5 years' experience in financial services

• Compliance experience specifically in trading

• Knowledge of futures and fixed income required

• Strong project management capabilities
