Lead financial strategies as the Senior Manager for Finance and Administration at Newcomer Women’s Services in North York. This full-time position emphasizes financial oversight, compliance, and operational systems.

This is a full-time, in-person role reporting directly to the Executive Director. You will be responsible for financial leadership, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and audit preparation. Your expertise in financial management, internal controls, and reporting will drive organizational accountability and enhance financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial management, budgeting, and compliance processes

• Lead the annual audit and manage relationships with external auditors

• Monitor and evaluate financial performance, providing analysis and forecasts

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders

• Supervise and mentor finance and administration staff

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of financial management experience

• Strong knowledge of not-for-profit accounting and compliance

• Experience with budgeting, internal controls, and audit preparation

• University degree in finance or related field

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
