Position: Hybrid Associate Financial Analyst Role
Elevate your career as an Associate Financial Analyst with Toronto Hydro in a hybrid work model. Contribute to financial analysis, reporting, and support across business units, enhancing operational effectiveness and asset management.

Reporting to the Manager, Capital Planning & Reporting, you will undertake critical month-end close activities, lead variance analysis, and ensure adherence to accounting standards.

Your role will require solid communication skills to liaise with both financial and non-financial teams, focusing on process optimization and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide analytical support for capital projects and compliance

• Guide Business Units on accounting rules and documentation

• Assess project contracts for cost recovery strategies

• Establish and monitor effective internal controls

• Identify improvements for capital asset documentation processes

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of financial analysis expertise

• Actively pursuing CPA designation in Canada

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• Strong knowledge of IFRS principles

• Familiar with SAP, BI, and Microsoft Office Suite
