Position: Expert Advisor, Capital Governance Role
Drive regulatory capital governance at BMO Financial Group as a Senior Advisor in Toronto, ON. Ensure compliance with OSFI guidelines and lead enterprise-wide initiatives.

In this key advisor role, you will oversee the capital adequacy framework and interpret evolving regulatory requirements, including those for digital assets. You'll enhance capital governance processes while collaborating with business partners and senior leaders. Your leadership will be essential in managing regulatory developments impacting risk management and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct governance framework for CAR and TLAC interpretation

• Strengthen accountability across regulatory capital functions

• Evaluate new regulations and adjust programs accordingly

• Offer advisory support on Credit Risk and FRTB

• Champion internal and external capital governance discussions

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of risk management experience

• Degree in a quantitative discipline like economics or mathematics

• Deep understanding of OSFI and Basel capital standards

• Advanced capabilities in communication and influence

• Proven track record in managing priorities and ambiguity
