As Questbank expands within the Canadian retail banking industry, the CCRO will take charge of credit risk strategies and compliance. Reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer, this role focuses on maintaining the integrity of loan portfolios while addressing regulatory standards. The CCRO will guide lending proposals and constantly assess the credit risk environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure soundness in credit granting transactions

• Monitor underwriting efficiency for new credit products

• Assess real estate and lending trends regularly

• Review and enhance credit products and processes

• Lead regulatory credit audits and follow-up actions

Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in banking sector

• Expertise in credit risk management and regulations

• Strong negotiation and communication aptitude

• Advanced degree such as CFA or MBA preferred

• Proven record of leading teams effectively
