Financial Services VP Controller

In this role, you will oversee various aspects of legal entity governance, including financial statements, audits, and board reporting. A successful VP Controller at State Street will engage in process design improvements and work collaboratively across teams to ensure compliance and effectiveness in financial operations. Your 8-10 years of relevant experience will be crucial in supporting the Controllers' goals and driving process documentation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee legal entity financial governance and budgeting

• Participate in audit support and regulatory compliance

• Drive improvements in process documentation and controls

• Lead discussions on balance sheet substantiation

• Coordinate quarterly A/R reserve processes and analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business

• 8-10 years of financial services accounting experience

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Experience with financial reporting and internal controls

• Ability to engage effectively with teams and stakeholders
