Head of Finance

Our client, a global FMCG business, is currently searching for a Head of Finance to lead the full finance function for its Canadian business.
Reporting to the Finance Director for North America with a dotted line to the Canada Country Manager, you will own the full P&L, balance sheet substantiation and net working capital, with back office and transactional work sitting with shared services in North America. The role covers FP&A, trade, marketing finance and supply commercial finance, alongside managing a team of two Finance Controllers and acting as the day to day finance partner to local and regional leadership.

The business is migrating from SAP to D365 over the next year, and while this role is not running that project, you will be steering the ERP team to make sure the Canadian commercial finance perspective is properly represented.
The right person has 10 or more years of post qualification experience, ideally in commercial finance or FP&A within CPG. You will have a degree in economics or finance (MBA or CPA a plus), and genuine comfort operating across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow. SAP or D365 experience is preferred, and prior ERP transition exposure would be advantageous.
The salary range is between CAD ,000 per annum plus bonus. The role is based in Greater Toronto on a hybrid basis.
