Business Unit Overview

The Quantitative Engineering & Development (QED) team provides a full suite of quantitative development and risk management services to global equity derivatives sales and trading desks, playing a pivotal role in providing quantitative solutions and development.

Responsibilities
  • Support and facilitate daily front‑office operations in collaboration with trading teams.
  • Investigate system discrepancies for vanilla and exotic derivatives products.
  • Maintain data integrity of the book‑of‑record system (Sophis).
  • Support the trading desks and their activities on a daily basis.
  • Assist in testing system releases.
  • Fully document all newly developed processes.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of work experience in derivatives operations and pricing with exposure to equity, FX, commodity, interest rate or credit derivatives.
  • Solid background in mathematics, statistics and finance, preferably at the graduate level.
  • Understanding of the pricing theory of equity derivatives.
  • Proficiency in Python, Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet‑based analysis.
  • Experience with Bloomberg, Reuters, Sophis and Calypso systems preferred.
