Position: EQB Senior Compliance Officer for Sanctions

As a vital member of our compliance team, you will report to the Associate Director, AML EDD, and ensure that EQB meets all sanctions regulations. Your work will include investigating potential sanctions violations and providing guidance to various business units for risk mitigation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of sanctions compliance frameworks

• Review high-risk transactions for sanctions adherence

• Screen all transactions, clients, and counter parties thoroughly

• File necessary compliance reports to regulatory bodies

• Train employees on the importance of sanctions policies

Requirements:

• Degree in law, Finance, or related discipline

• Minimum 3 years of compliance experience in financial services

• In-depth knowledge of international sanctions frameworks

• Experience with compliance screening tools required

• Certifications such as CGSS or CAMS preferred
