Actuarial Co-op in Asset Liability Management

Join Foresters Financial as an Actuarial Co-op in the ALM Team, gaining hands-on experience in a rewarding hybrid position. This 8-month contract is centered in Toronto, combining teamwork and analytical support.

You will work closely with experienced actuaries and engage in various tasks, including risk management and financial analysis. This role will enable you to hone your skills in comprehensive financial modelling and learn about product valuation while collaborating across several departments for a holistic experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support ALM functions through tactical proposal assessments

• Enhance model risk management and documentation

• Work with teams in Pricing, Capital Management, and IT

• Develop and implement improvements in ALM reporting

• Assist in creating the annual Appointed Actuary Report

Requirements:

• Enrolled actuarial undergraduate, actively writing exams

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

• Strong analytical and technical aptitude

• Proficient in GGY Axis and Excel

• Prior experience with Hyperion is desirable
