Actuarial Director

Position: Actuarial Director Role with AIG
Join AIG Canada as an Actuarial Director and utilize your actuarial expertise to manage risk and support financial initiatives. This role emphasizes collaboration and leadership.

As Actuarial Director, you will work alongside the Chief Actuary and finance teams to provide vital estimates and guidance on new accounting standards. Your impact will extend globally through consistent actuarial processes and robust risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate quarterly financial estimates for AIG Canada

• Assist with the implementation of IFRS 17

• Develop global processes in reserving management

• Act as a liaison for Actuarial audits

• Support the Own Risk Self Assessment development

Requirements:

• Degree in Mathematics or Actuarial Science

• Fellow of Canadian Institute of Actuaries and Casualty Actuarial Society

• At least 5 years P&C experience, 2 years post Fellowship

• Expertise in actuarial methodologies and concepts

• Strong leadership and educational skills
