Tax Analyst

Position: Tax Analyst Role at Mars
Join Mars Canada as a Tax Analyst, overseeing direct and indirect tax activities. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in tax compliance and reporting while ensuring deadlines are met.

As a pivotal member of the Canadian Tax team, you will report directly to the Canadian Tax Manager, collaborating with business finance and Global Tax teams. Bring your expertise in corporate income tax, VAT, and compliance processes to execute timely tax computations and manage documentation for tax audits. Your input will drive cash forecasting and the overall budget for ICTC Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate tax computations for direct and indirect taxes

• Develop compliance processes for withholding tax services

• Prepare documentation for tax audits and submissions

• Coordinate purchase orders and tax partner invoices

• Support financial accounting and quarterly PBT reviews

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• CPA or advanced tax specialization preferred

• 3-5 years of Canadian tax experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems

• Strong communication and analytical skills
