Supporting the daily and month end production of US FR2052a to meet daily T+2 3pm and month end T+10 submission timeline.
Perform Day over Day variance checks and analysis (pre and post adjustments)
Managing mapping tables consumed by ALRE/APEX/LIAT/Axiom process for US Fr2052a.
Reviewing and updating the cpty type for the net new counterparty for Fr2052a.
Providing variance analysis and commentary to management and all US stakeholders.
Working closely with business units and project BAs to investigate identified data gaps from daily/monthly reporting cycles.
Proposing business requirements for solutions to data issues and raise defects with the technology team if necessary.
Establishing test cases, expected benchmarks, and UAT protocols within the context of the applicable regulatory and operational frameworks for US Fr2052a reporting.
Maintaining up-to-date documentation of proper operational procedures.
Assisting in responding to regulator or management queries.
Performing other ad hoc tasks as required.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:
Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking industry with a focus on treasury, capital markets or regulatory reporting.
Expert knowledge of Excel, Python, SQL, VBA, Alteryx
Strong background in accounting and financial statement analysis as well as a detailed understanding of banking products across business lines.
Prior experience with liquidity management, projects and bank’s various systems would be an asset;
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills;
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
High performance, pragmatic, detail-oriented team player able to work well in a complex, demanding and fast-paced environment.
