Mortgage Funder at First National

Elevate your career as a Mortgage Funder in Toronto with First National. This full-time role focuses on third-party residential underwriting, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.

In this position, you will report to the Manager of Third Party Residential Underwriting. Your key responsibilities will include closing mortgage files, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating with solicitors. You’ll also manage the accuracy of documentation and respond to inquiries in a timely fashion to enhance service within the Canadian mortgage broker channel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct, advance, and close mortgage files efficiently

• Verify accuracy of lender and approval details

• Coordinate mortgage documentation with solicitors

• Review files to ensure compliance with guidelines

• Respond to inquiries within established time frames

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience

• Previous mortgage industry experience preferred

• Completed Mortgage Agent Course or FSRA License an asset

• Proficient in MS Office with the ability to learn new systems

• Strong time management and multitasking abilities
