As an Underwriter at EQ, you will evaluate credit applications for various Insurance Lending products. This role demands a keen understanding of both commercial and individual borrowing, with emphasis on Whole Life Insurance nuances. Your expertise will help deliver efficient approvals while supporting internal stakeholders and sales meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess credit worthiness for corporate and individual borrowers

• Provide recommendations and ensure compliance with lending guidelines

• Engage with colleagues and support team efforts

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in business or finance

• Minimum of 1 year commercial lending experience

• Knowledge of AML and ATF practices

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
