Position SummaryPIA Client Relationship Associate – an experienced, detail-oriented associate who provides business and relationship management to Investment Advisors (IAs) to help them deliver exceptional service to high-value clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide functional specialized business services, advisory and process/program support to IAs.
- Assist IAs in building integrated and customized solutions based on clients’ unusual needs.
- Build relationships with existing clients.
- Deliver consistent and accurate administrative support; prepare all documentation for client meetings.
- Execute client service operations using full-service brokerage knowledge.
- Support sales by identifying opportunities/referrals and assisting in client meetings.
- Provide market quotes and track Dividends, RSPs, RIFs.
- Create reports for client account analysis.
- Understand TDW PIA Product offerings and unique investment instructions.
- Direct support staff in delivering client service effectively.
- Solve moderate complexity problems, exercise judgment and act as escalation point as required.
- Monitor service quality and productivity; implement continuous improvement.
- Keep current on emerging trends and share status updates with team.
- Participate fully as a team member, support a positive professional environment.
- Undergraduate degree or community college diploma preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Representative (RR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO).
- 1–2 years of relevant experience, ideally in banking, administrative roles, or related fields.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships and work collaboratively, confidentially, and independently.
- Knowledge of wealth management and/or operations is an asset.
- Knowledge of investment products is an asset.
