Director Corporate Tax

Position: Director Corporate Tax at Alvarez & Marsal
Lead tax compliance and strategy with Alvarez & Marsal as a Senior Director of Corporate Tax. This role focuses on managing tax returns and advising on complex tax matters across Canada and beyond.

As a key player in the A&M Tax Canada Team, you will leverage over 8 years of experience in tax and accounting. You'll conduct thorough research on tax laws, lead audits, and mentor team members while maximizing opportunities for client support. Your insights will drive strategic decisions and compliance for clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file corporate tax returns for compliance

• Advise senior management on tax implications

• Represent during tax audits with regulatory agencies

• Mentor and lead the tax compliance team

• Build consultative relationships with clients

Requirements:

• Master's degree in taxation or accounting preferred

• CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program completion

• 8+ years of relevant experience

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Ability to thrive in dynamic environments
